  If possible I would give this place negative stars. The experience was comically bad. One member of my party ordered the chicken cutlet platter, no chicken cutlet. OK, smoked pork chop platter then; we find out five minutes later no pork chops so you're stuck with the pork link platter. Second member of our party: Herring appetizer and potato pancakes, "Sorry no potato pancakes." Finally for myself, smoked kielbasa sandwich and a pretzel appetizer, " Oh no pretzel, how about the German pickle, you don't have those either? I'll just stick with the sandwich". So to summarize, that is FIVE items listed on the menu that are not available, mind you this is at Six PM on a Wednesday. I also ordered a beer which was sour, but not on purpose. I ordered a Paulaner pilsner; ironically this unintentionally sour beer was probably the best tasting thing I had at the restaurant.
  
  Onto the food... not good!!! Like other people have mentioned, the sauerkraut was out of a can. The herring was drowned in watery sour cream and was also out of a jar. The kielbasa was bland at best. The bread provided, a stale kaiser roll with two packets of butter for a party of three. On the plus side, the white bean soup was tasty, salty but tasty.
  
  So you might ask, "Sounds like you had an awful time hopefully they brought the food out fast." Of course not!!! Service was painfully slow, giving you plenty of time to ponder whether or not you should just leave and go some place else; I wish I had. In his defense the waiter was a nice enough fellow, I hope he finds another place to work because I doubt he can support himself at this practical joke of a German restaurant.
